IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BEING A JUNIOR COUNSELLOR:

The role of the Junior Counsellor (JC) is one that is absolutely fundamental to the success of our program. There are two years of JC training, the first consists of a hands-on leadership seminar where you engage with the students as directed by the senior staff, and will perform various administrative duties. The second will be very involved with the students and will involve more direct teaching and leadership roles within the program to put into practice the lessons learned during the first year. JCs will be selected by senior staff based on engagement and attitude displayed as a delegate at boys state. City Counselor recommendations will be a major consideration in the selection process.
